Posted June 20, 200519 yr comment_127982 I did a tune up - valve adjustment, new plugs - this weekend and had no idea how much she needed one! The Seat-o-the-pants dyno really felt the difference. IF it's been a while, tune her up. Certainly your car deserves a new set of NGK BP6ES's Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/16312-dont-forget-to-tune-up/ Share on other sites
June 20, 200519 yr comment_127991 What is involved with the valve ajustment as far as symptoms of the car needing one? My valves make no noise so i'm assuming that they don't need one, correct? I still don't feel the car is where it should be on power so i'm trying to explore all options... I've done everything in a "Tune up" sense except for ajusting the valves. June 21, 200519 yr comment_128020 Valves that are adjusted too tight don't make noise, but affect power output of the engine. The Slide Show linked below is a good introduction to adjusting valves on an L6 enginehttp://www.picturetrail.com/gallery/view?p=999&gid=1803105&uid=786489 Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/16312-dont-forget-to-tune-up/#findComment-128020 Share on other sites
