I now have my noltec strut tops for the tr7. They are a straight bolt in, and seem pretty well designed. I'll have to see if they make them for a Z.

What spring rate are they putting in there?

By the way, anyone interested in a set of used King springs, 175lb front/180lb rear linear rate units? I'd probably want around $80.00 for them.

Be good to be kept informed as to how the Noltec tops perform, K-mac have such a bad rep that now I would not touch their tops.

I just checked the King Springs catalogue, the part no's are different for the 240Z and 260Z. Guess I'll just add them to the pile of Z stuff I've got

The 2+2 springs have an extra coil [i think].

Hi guys. I am a member but a bit of a lurker rather than a talker.

I have spoken to Noltec and they do have the offset strut top replacements and lots of other noltec goodies like steering rack rubbers and suspension rubber replacements and all those cool things.(not sure about adjustable but who is going to adjust them after they are in?)i

I have a 72 240Z rally car and don't have adjustable camber, just the lengthened lower control arms and stuff that gives about 2-2.5 degrees neg.

Perfect for the dirt on fresh tyres but I am going to get the offset tops to get a bit more bite from the front end.

Not sure how it will handle on tar but dirt is for racing on and tar is only for getting there.

Just thought id add what ive done with the springs . I orginaally got a set of king 200lb king springs for my 240z and like you guys i was really disappointed , i got Morrabin Spring works to make me a custom set to 280lbs for the back and i could be happier , the springs are heaps stiffer but back breaking. I got these custom spring done for $160 a pair and they been on the car for 6 months now and havent got softer like the king springs did

Perhaps you could expand and mention the make of Shock you're using, and the type of work your zed does? ie Road, Track or Dirt.

I forget the type of shocks im running i think there pedders there meant to be equivalent to koni reds on the medium/hard setting , but i use the car everyday and have taken to the track and next year when i not a student ill be looking to do a few hill climbs and the like. I drive up in mountains fairly regulary and the new springs make the zed sit on the road really well
