Posted June 24, 200519 yr comment_128431 Well, on the way home today i found antifreeze pouring into the passenger side of my 280Z. Luckily i was able to pressurize the system and find it only appears to be a hose that leads to the heater core. Here is my question. How much of my dash am i going to have to tear apart to get up there so i can work. It seems to be up near the top where the hoses first come into the car. I thought i would ask before i go in ripping out a buch of stuff i don't really need to. June 24, 200519 yr comment_128435 I replaced mine without removing anything. It's kind of a contortionist thing but it can be done. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/16353-blown-heater-core-hoses/#findComment-128435 Share on other sites
June 25, 200519 yr comment_128444 You might want to take out the passenger seat and put a small piece of 3/4 plywood over the seat mount brackets so you can lay (reasonably) comfortably while you are upside down under the dash.
