Most States in Oz have banned the sale of fireworks to the general public I believe. I think the only exception is the Australian Capitol, Canberra.

As for Independence Day being the 4th of July, I reckon the majority of Oz youth would know that. I wouldn't be surprised if our youth knew more about American history than Australia's.

Potassium nitrate (saltpeter)+ granulated or powdered sugar= white smoke. For a casing, be creative but leave plenty of space for the black carbon to escape.
