I think it should be HLS30A-434056 because it has an automatic transmission. According to the serial number, it's supposed to be a ZX? (got the serials from the 'Datsun Z club.')

I wonder if your VIN accurately describes your car?

FYI -- If you didn't know, you can't run your S30 VIN through the CARFAX system because it will only accept a 17-digit VIN, which didn't start until the late 70s/early 80s.
