Posted July 9, 200519 yr comment_130029 I need to know were the boost sensor amp is. Does anyone know were it is? I'm trying to bypass the main harness. The main harness is still non-turbo. I swapped the car over to turbo. The engine harnees and the dash harness was swapped over. Do I really need to swap the main harness?????? or come I bypass it at the boost sensor amp, were ever the damb thing is????DeeDee Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/16507-boost-sensor-wiring-help/ Share on other sites
July 9, 200519 yr comment_130040 I looked throught the '82 FSM, and could not track the boost sensor connector (#53) to a connector specific to the boost sensor amp-even though I did find reference to that part in the turbo wiring schematic. It is a three conductor connector that has the following wire colors: blue with white stripe, green, and black. From the location within the schematic-the boost sensor housing could and probably does contain the amplifier as well.If you supply the Vin for the car your Turbo parts came from, I will run it through the Nisan Parts program, and work the location out from the part number. Will Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/16507-boost-sensor-wiring-help/#findComment-130040 Share on other sites
July 9, 200519 yr Author comment_130052 I have the vin# for the turbo donor car.JN1CZO4S4DX750922The car is an 83 280zxt. I have the 83 280zx FSM to, and the wires @ the boost sensor is supposed to go to the boost sensor amp. One of the wires(blue w/ white goes to the fuse box. I believe the other 2 wires (green + black) goes to the 2 wires tha come out of the boost gauge it's self.(I think) What do you think!!!!!!!!DeeDee Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/16507-boost-sensor-wiring-help/#findComment-130052 Share on other sites
