July 12, 200519 yr comment_130362 Hi 280mex, and welcome to the club! There are two other places to look for the VIN (serial) number. The easiest place to look is on the back edge of the drivers side door jamb. There should be a square metal plate that is riveted to the jamb. It's the HLS30-##### number at the bottom of the plate. The other place is on the firewall on the engine bay side. It's engraved in the firewall just about directly above the steering wheel shaft, up near the top of the firewall. It'll be a HLS30 number as well. It's sometimes difficult to see, but it is there.Good luck, and keep asking questions here when you need help. All these members are glad to help. July 12, 200519 yr comment_130382 Doesn't the 2+2 VIN start with a G? It should be GHLS30- ###### Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/16540-serial-number/#findComment-130382 Share on other sites
