Cargo net for rear deck

remember the cargo nets? Looks like fish netting. Was it ever an option on the Z? I remember lots of domestic hatchbacks having them. So I think I might be able to get on on the deck of my car to keep the stuff back there under control., especially since there's not too many place to put stuff with the spare back there. I would probably attach it to/under the chrome strip along the front of the deck and some hooks & velcro straps along the back.

where can you get those? The only place I found one was jcwhitney.com

thx

What about a 'spider web' style elastic cargo net the guys use to secure stuff in the bed of their trucks? I helped a friend out putting one on his truck just the other day. They have about a dozen plastic hooks around the edge. All you'd have to do is mount a few eye bolts at the back and front of the rear deck. Maybe paint them black so you don't notice them so much.

All S30s, including yours, Tomo, have had the straps....I never use mine, so you're lucky, getting rid of them is already done for you. look under your carpet, there should be 2 screw holes on each side of the spare tire, in front where the 2 straps connected...you might need to seal them for exhaust....
