Anybody in, or near, Washington want some free parts?

A member in Washinington is giving away some good part just for picking them up!

Including a sereis one hatch-He has no time to pack and ship, but would rather the pieces go to a member than the crusher!

I would love to get his pieces-but he is 5600 miles round trip. As he does not have time to pack and ship, I am out of luck-those of you who are closer and have the time might want to go snap these up-If you are so inclined, that series one hatch would make a great finders fee for me-I'll pay shipping!

Will,

Would you have him contact me? Or send me his info and I'll find out where he is.

Don't forget that Washington is a BIG state. It might not be as big as California or Texas, but it still takes more than 3 hours to go from southern border to northern border, and West to East is probably closer to 8+. So hopefully he's not on the East side.

If he's close, I'll see if I can't get that hatch to you.

Enrique

Will, I'm on the east side and pretty far north in Washington (4 miles from Canadian border), call it North Central Washington, but would love to find out what kind of parts your source has to give away. I'd also be happy to store some for EScanlon to pick up at his leisure if I am closer and don't really need what is being given away and he does. Same offer on the hatch, if the parts are close enough. I also make the occassional trip to the wet (err... west) side and have a friend in Seattle who visits often (& travels to the Tri-Cities to see his folks). which is much closer to the Deep South where EScanlon is (even if its on the wrong side of the Cascades). So together us Washingtonians could probably figure a way to relay parts as long as they're not too large. Have pickup will travel (that is if gas doesn't reach the $3 mark, $2.49 here). Gary

Yes, hard to believe we're actually a little cheaper than some other parts of the country, at least for now. We used to complain that our prices were higher because we were at the end of the line -- last place the gas trucks delivered to before they hit the Canadian border. In fact most things like food and other supplies were more expensive because of "end of the line" syndrome. Our neighbors to the north, in Osoyoos, BC had the same problem being at the end of the line before they hit the U.S. For a long time our gas prices were lower than elsewhere in the area because stations used cheap gas to compete for the Canadian dollar. In the late 70s we filled up north of the border, in the 80's and 90's the Canadians filled up here. With Canadian gas prices what they are no one would think of filling up there anymore if they didn't have to.
