figured id bring up this post. Gas prices are steadily increasing and its kinda tickin me off. Its up to US$2.63 for regular unleaded gas. This is gettin to be ridiculous. Is it gunna stop increasing? are there any new rumours goin around that i havent heard? I went to get gas for my dirt bike start fillin it and i get a gallon an a half for $4.40. GRRR!!!! :mad:

I drove from Arlington, Va. to Savannah, Ga. today, and the 91 octane was 2.87 in Arlington, 2.81 in Roanoke Rapids, NC. 2.79 inSantee, Sc. and 2.75 in Savannah!

Yeeouch! I could have flown round trip for $99!

We are looking at around $AUD1.20/L here in Australia which looks to be around $US0.90/0.264gallons, so $US3.42/gallon so you guys arent too bad off? I remember it being half this not too long ago and I am not an old(er) guy (25).

It's usually a bit cheaper here on the Coast, around $1.05 a litre ($3.04 US/Gallon). Like you I can remember when everyone complained as petrol climbed over 60c. I wonder what the price is now in the UK?

Here in the Piedmont area of NC, diesel is around $2.55gal, regular unleaded is $2.45gal.

I'm sick of it too, I have a grading business and drive a dump truck for a living, and it's eating me alive.

I'd like to see it addressed in the media, and something done about it. It's a real-live concern, unlike a lot of the b.s. that's been going on lately.

i was watching the news this morning and they mentioned it.. maybe for like 2 minutes tops? they said that its been affecting everyone and blah blah blah ( pretty much just said the prices and its hurting everyone... no reason for why its happening or whats goin to happen) then they put on a 20 minute special with parison hilton and her show. I was like ARE YOU F$#%*(% KIDDING ME!

I'm sure it really makes all the various elected office holders "Really Mad" as they drive around in their "Limousine's"..... Right !!!!........Which we are also paying for with our tax dollars. About time to toss some of them out of office.........Hello....

I'm getting irritated too. I passed a station in Concord, Ca yesterday and it was 2.79 reg. Not an hour later I passed and it was up to 2.84. This is getting out of control. The reason nothings being done is because Bushs' buddies in the oil business are raking in the cash. Everyone should start E-mailing the President and ask him for answers. Zman I get P!$$ed too when the news stations have a short clip, but no answers. They should just say "Hey everyone look how your getting ripped off, what are you gonna do about it!!!"

Premium here is 2.69.... regular is 2.49..... Had a Hummer guy yesterday at the pump almost in tears..... $72.50 for a fill up...... Brace yourself though, its going to get worse before it gets better.....

Worst I saw on the way home was $1.19/l for the cheap stuff. The good stuff is 10c or more dearer as well. This morning It was $1.03, but I didn't fill up cause i was running late for work. My gauge was below the empty mark driving home, so I had to put some fuel in. I'm getting my fourby on gas next week, so it seems that big hunk of metal will be cheaper to run than the Z.....
