Posted July 20, 200519 yr comment_131305 All,My series 1 240z has had it's dash dials out at some stage. The pointers are that bright fluro orange/red paint. Is this standard on early examples? I suspect not. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/16637-series-1-dial-needle-pointer-colour/ Share on other sites
July 20, 200519 yr comment_131310 I believe the original pointers are white....against black gauge faces, at least on the USA Zs. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/16637-series-1-dial-needle-pointer-colour/#findComment-131310 Share on other sites
July 21, 200519 yr comment_131314 When I was changing my tacho around (swapping guts and keeping original face etc) I used a two wire one from a 240k (I think) and it had a red/orange needle originally, although it was quite a bit smaller from memory and would have looked a little wierd on the original 240z face. Maybe someone's been playing swapsies with yours too?But no, no zeds I've seen have had that.FWIWLuke Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/16637-series-1-dial-needle-pointer-colour/#findComment-131314 Share on other sites
