Posted July 31, 200519 yr comment_132590 Rally Fans,I just got back from the Maine Forest Rally (Aug 29-30). I posted some pictures in the empty 5005 event folder. Greg Healy of Saugerties, NY and Co-Driver John McLeod of Quincy, MA won Group 5 on the debut rally of their 1987 280Z. They outlasted the other group 5 entry for the win. The car is described as mostly stock except for reinforcments and safety gear. The car was so recently prepared that it ran in primer paint. Also new to the series is the recently finished 1970 Datsun 510 of Dan Cooke / Bill Rhodes. The 510 is running an L20B at 2340cc with 44mm Mikunis.
