Hello Z car people. I signed-up yesterday after my 82 280ZX turbo came home from having the front brakes replaced and the clutch went out. Bad luck I guess because I hadn't even noticed a problem with the clutch. I'm going to try and find someone to repair/replace the clutch. About how expensive is this task. I hate to have to give up this Z - its b-e-a-u-tiful. :classic:

Autozone sells a "clutch kit" (alignment tool, clutch, pressure plate, pilot bearing and the throwout bearing too I think) thats pretty good for a little over $100. I did this job myself on a saturday in about 5 hours on my car (a '78 280Z). I believe this job would similar on your car but I cant say for sure.
