Member Greg Ira aka "gira" won the E Production race in his 240Z at the National at VIR yesterday. It was an awesome race with lead changes about every lap. Here are but a few of the pics I took with my brand new Nikon digital SLR.

The turn under the big oak is in fact called the "Oak Tree" turn. It was one of the best road races you will every see. Greg started third behind the RX7 on pole and Doug Piner in the blue 240Z. Greg and the RX7 traded the lead about every lap during the 14 lap race. The thing is Greg & the driver of the RX7 are battling for the SE Division EP Championship and then they head to the Runoffs.

Great Pics!

On a related note, I'm working F&C at the Denver Grand Prix this coming weekend. In addition to the Champ Cars, Trans Am and Speed World Challenge cars will be there too. Can't wait...Robert
