5 spd and carbie swap in 280??

Please forgive me for asking a question that has been asked before .. but I would like to be sure of the answer.

I just bought a very clean 77 280 ..some body rust but otherwise in complete condition and runs and drives great, interior perfect.. $700 CAD.

I intend to restore this car and would like to change the auto over to a 5 spd and install carbies instead of the FI system.

Can someone please tell me what parts I need for the auto swap and any things to watch out for. It seems to be this should be quite easy. And also what are the pros and cons of the carbie's over the FI? I just dont like the FI system either looks of it or the akward operation of it compared to other FI sytems.

Thanks in advance ..I will post pics soon and show the progress of the project. It seems to me there is better interest in this year on z as of late.

PS I have a completely rebuilt auto tranny for sale and one auto tranny that wont shift out of 2nd gear when warm for sale also. i will ship to you no problem.
