August 13, 200519 yr comment_134045 You would need a clutch/brake pedal assy. for the interior and a clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder, as well as all the hydraulic piping for same. You may also need to modify the console for the manual shifter. The flywheel is different also. Any body else that has actually done this, feel free to jump in and correct/clarify/expand on this info. August 13, 200519 yr Author comment_134048 Yeah, more expansion would be grand. I'm doing the body on my 240Z right now, but would like to switch over to manual in the future. August 15, 200519 yr comment_134169 If you haven't already try searching for this on the forum...we have discussed it many times...I myself even asked about this swap a couple years ago. August 15, 200519 yr comment_134176 Radiators are different as well. automatic models have the connections for the tranny cooler lines. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/16885-i-feel-stupid-for-asking-this/#findComment-134176 Share on other sites
August 15, 200519 yr comment_134199 curtis240 the manual has a flywheel the automatic uses a flexplate. there is no crank shaft bushing for the automatic applicatoion, one is needed for the manual trans installation. It is true the automatic used a rad with a oil cooler in the lower tank . It will work fine with the manual trans , just remove the oil lines and forget it. as for all the questions about the difference of this part and that . the club sells a CD that has the entire program that the dealers use , showing part numbers and all . Drop the $20. it is worth it. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/16885-i-feel-stupid-for-asking-this/#findComment-134199 Share on other sites

August 21, 200519 yr comment_134999 I am refering to the CD that the club has for sale . It doesn't have instructions on how to do anything . It is the same information that the Nissan Dealer has when they look up part numbers . It has exploded views of the various systimes and it shows what the individual part numbers are. I bought mine 4+ years ago and unless I am wrong it was $20.00 .
