does anyone know what could cause a 280zx turbo to have an extremely slow accelleration and a top speed of about 70?....im thinking the fuel injectors but i dont know if this could cause the problem or not (when im low on fuel my car goes about 25 for a mile or so then dies)

Well first the turbo bearings could be shot or the blades could be worn severly , if the car is very quiet exhaust wise you might have a pluged up exhaust and that will affect in a big way

actually at the current moment the exhaust is pratically coming right out of the engine so i DOUBT highly the exhaust is causing the problem...but would the shot turbo bearings slow the acceleration THAT much?...and slow the top speed?...
