August 16, 200519 yr comment_134353 What is the paint code? I've never heard of a Z color actually called 'butterscotch'. Check here and see if it is one of these colors. http://datsunprojects.org/zpaintcodes/ Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/16918-color/#findComment-134353 Share on other sites
August 16, 200519 yr comment_134362 He's talking about 920 gold, a 70 and early 71 color. You know, some people refer this to "Baby Poo gold" or "spoiled mustard", but if you buff this color out, It's DEEP and Beautifull. August 16, 200519 yr comment_134365 That's the color I thought he was reffering to. I don't think that link I posted earlier was working but I fixed it. I don't think that clicking on the colors leads anywhere but at least you can see the color chart. And thanks again to Michael Purdue for that link. August 16, 200519 yr comment_134397 Really shouldn't be in the 240K forums but I believe this is the colour you're referring to. Seeing as Michael's paintcodes don't seem to be there any more :disappoin I'm not sure of it's rarity, I've seen it before... when I took pictures of this car, most 240Z's I've seen/noticed in NZ are Red, then White then the rest of the colours are a lot less in number. Couldn't tell you about anywhere else though. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/16918-color/#findComment-134397 Share on other sites
August 16, 200519 yr comment_134399 Really shouldn't be in the 240K forums Oops! I didn't notice! Bambi had the sharpest eye for these things. I used to get "Reported posts" from him daily. It's in the right forum now I'm not sure of it's rarity, I've seen it before. I believe the only "Rarity" issue is how few years it was used. Man! that is a pretty car! August 16, 200519 yr comment_134401 Man! that is a pretty car!Indeed it is, completely original with all it's stickers etc. still intact, the most mint un-restored S30 I've ever seen. Truely beautiful. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/16918-color/#findComment-134401 Share on other sites

August 17, 200519 yr comment_134490 Nissan 920 Gold, great color. I do not know if it was rare originally but many people have changed from that color to a more contmporary color over the years so it could be getting rarer these days to see one.
