August 21, 200519 yr comment_135063 I jumped on those wheels. With the metal flake gold paint on my 280Z it will be really nice! Now let's talk tires. I saw the fairly extensive thread in this forum on tire sizes a month or so ago but I really didn't get a complete understanding of what sizes fit OEM suspension. Now that I'm stepping up to 15 x 7 wheels what is the maximum size tire that I can put on those wheels without having problems? I like the look of the old tires that are on this car 215/60/14 but will a 215/60/15 be an issue? I've also read that the sidewall performance of the lower profile tires can be much better but I don't care for that skinny tire look much. My driving style in this car will be slightly agressive but not careless. August 21, 200519 yr comment_135071 You'd need to go to a 215/55-14 to keep the same diameter as your current 14" tires.Edit: Just remembered, you wont find any tires in that size, so you have to go oversize to a 60 profile or undersize to a 50. August 22, 200519 yr comment_135085 I just bought a set of the graphite center Rewinds from the same guy and had a response from him with shipping data within ten minutes of arranging the money through PayPal. Cost for shipping across the country was only $60.00 for approx. 120 LBS. Packaging included. September 14, 200519 yr comment_138140 So here's my gold 280Z with those 15x7 Konig Rewind wheels in gold. I went with a 215x50x15 Kumho ECSTA tire and I must say I'm very pleased with the look and handling. Now don't take this personally, but man you have alot of space between the tires and fender well openings. Of course this is just my opinion, but if your Z was lowered at least and inch it would look closer to awsome! Take a look at my photo gallery and you will understand my point of view.
