okachuck Posted August 24, 2005 Share #1 Posted August 24, 2005 I'm buying a new battery for my 280zx, and wondering if there is one that is more "OEM" or original than another, or does it matter? thanks for any thoughts on this.okachuck
sblake01 Posted August 24, 2005 Share #2 Posted August 24, 2005 Unless you are strictly going for originality, it doesn't really matter as long as you get the correct size.

ezzzzzzz Posted August 24, 2005 Share #6 Posted August 24, 2005 I run a red top Optima and it fit in very well. I still use the original frame to hold it in place. Best part is NO batttery acid to eat paint or metal. You could mount it upside down or sideways if you wish. The down side is roughly three times the cost of a regular wet cell.
