Hi, im looking into buying a turbo for my 1976 280z . It is still fuel injected. I was wondering what i would need for this job as for parts other than the manifold and the turbo itself. Never had a car with a turbo so im new to them. Any input is welcome! Also if anyone is selling or knows of someone who is selling one im interested! =)

The quickest and easiest way is to buy a complete running 80-83 280ZX turbo and move the engine and electronics-running rustbuckets are your best bet! That way you don't have to wonder if it will work, or hunt for other pieces.

Prox is right, though it can be done you would be better suited to just get the turbo motor complete and install that route. To answer a previous question, the earlier 84-early 87 turbo itself. will work on the ZXT manifold but the Z31 manifold will not work on the S130, being the S130 is a inline six, and the Z31 is a V-6.
