Posted September 3, 200519 yr comment_136832 Would a sticky on this topic be useful, for major parts anyway? Buyers and sellers should benefit, right now I have a good 240Z bonnet, both doors and other stuff for sale but don't have much idea on fair prices. September 4, 200519 yr comment_136958 I just asked a similar question at hybridz about a grille, some bumpers, and taillights from a 240 I want to sell. One problem is that the value changes as time goes by. Also there is that whole US vs Australian market thing... September 4, 200519 yr comment_137005 I bought a good bonnet for $250. No rust at all, a very minor dent. I though that was a pretty fair price.I also bought a whole 260z 2+2 for $500 for all the other usable bits. (fenders, gearbox, engine parts, R200, etc.) Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/17135-sticky-used-parts-prices/#findComment-137005 Share on other sites
September 7, 200519 yr Author comment_137224 A decent bonnet for $250 is good buying, I'm thinking ~$350 for mine which is in about as good a condition as possible for a used panel. The doors are pretty well perfect, no rust, no repairs, someone has suggested ~$500 each for them, have'nt decided yet. I've spoken to a couple of people who do s30's up for customers, eg they are sending one car to Africa, and they say prices are rising quickly. Which makes the recent sale of a Gold Coast 260 2+2 manual with a big RF hit for $100 a bit of a bargain Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/17135-sticky-used-parts-prices/#findComment-137224 Share on other sites

September 7, 200519 yr comment_137256 I believe so. I know Ben from Adelaide bought a new (vented) bonnet, and think it was around the $700 mark. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/17135-sticky-used-parts-prices/#findComment-137256 Share on other sites

September 9, 200519 yr comment_137535 $500 a door rules me out. Would be cheaper to get my spares fixed. I guess you don't see many (any) really good panels up for offer though. I just wouldn't be able get the rest of the car up to the same standard as the doors Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/17135-sticky-used-parts-prices/#findComment-137535 Share on other sites
