260DET Posted September 3, 2005 Share #1 Posted September 3, 2005 Would a sticky on this topic be useful, for major parts anyway? Buyers and sellers should benefit, right now I have a good 240Z bonnet, both doors and other stuff for sale but don't have much idea on fair prices. 260Zed Posted September 4, 2005 Share #2 Posted September 4, 2005 Arms and legs seem to be the going rate for most 1st gen parts
jmortensen Posted September 4, 2005 Share #3 Posted September 4, 2005 I just asked a similar question at hybridz about a grille, some bumpers, and taillights from a 240 I want to sell. One problem is that the value changes as time goes by. Also there is that whole US vs Australian market thing...

Mr Camouflage Posted September 4, 2005 Share #5 Posted September 4, 2005 I bought a good bonnet for $250. No rust at all, a very minor dent. I though that was a pretty fair price.I also bought a whole 260z 2+2 for $500 for all the other usable bits. (fenders, gearbox, engine parts, R200, etc.)
260DET Posted September 7, 2005 Author Share #6 Posted September 7, 2005 A decent bonnet for $250 is good buying, I'm thinking ~$350 for mine which is in about as good a condition as possible for a used panel. The doors are pretty well perfect, no rust, no repairs, someone has suggested ~$500 each for them, have'nt decided yet. I've spoken to a couple of people who do s30's up for customers, eg they are sending one car to Africa, and they say prices are rising quickly. Which makes the recent sale of a Gold Coast 260 2+2 manual with a big RF hit for $100 a bit of a bargain
drunkenmaster Posted September 7, 2005 Share #7 Posted September 7, 2005 Are the non-fluted bonnets still available new?Nissan and All Z Parts had them for ~$710 or something a year or two ago didnt they?
Mr Camouflage Posted September 7, 2005 Share #8 Posted September 7, 2005 I believe so. I know Ben from Adelaide bought a new (vented) bonnet, and think it was around the $700 mark.

speedyblue Posted September 9, 2005 Share #10 Posted September 9, 2005 $500 a door rules me out. Would be cheaper to get my spares fixed. I guess you don't see many (any) really good panels up for offer though. I just wouldn't be able get the rest of the car up to the same standard as the doors
