Posted September 3, 200519 yr comment_136871 This where the fun begins my brother and I have discovered a huge hole the some filled in with bondo and didn't want to worry about it. So my qestion is how do I replace a quarter panel? September 3, 200519 yr comment_136906 The location of the hole, (above/below the body line on the side) and how extensive the rust is, and whether it's rust-THROUGH or rust from the exterior; all are factors in determining the best / cheapest / quickest way of repairing the problem. Some repairs can be done by simply cutting out the hole and filling the hole with new metal that's been shaped and cut to fit.Others require the whole removal of the quarter panel, or the dogleg or the rear part of the fender.
