Adjustable Strut ID

I need to identify the type of adjustable struts I have on my 240 I recently purchased and how to adjust them. I see that I simply use a small screw driver, but how many clicks up or down does what? Is their an adjustment I can make to return them to full soft or full firm and then work from that point. I posted a couple of picks to help in the ID.

What pictures? They are most likely Tokico Illumina's. If they are, 1 is the sofest and 5 is the hardest. The adjustment area is rather small and the numbers should be indented into the plastic ring around the part the small screw driver goes into. The numbers should have psint on them and so should the part you turn to indicate where it is pionting. Sometimes the paint does get worn off but you should still be able to see the numbers and tell what is going on. If there are no numbers on the top they might be some other type of shock in which case I do not have any advise.

I don't see any pics posted, but Tokico Illuminas are the most common adjustable struts. They fit your description and require a small screwdriver to adjust them. They have settings from 1 to 5, and you can keep spinning the adjuster round and round and it's still only going 1 to 5. 1 is softest 5 is hardest. I drove mine on the street on 1 or 2, then upped it to 4 or 5 on the track. They work best with spring rates between 150 and 250 in/lb. If your adjusters are broken give Tokico a call. I had that problem and they just mailed me some new ones.
