I am opening this thread up to ideas of where new users can go to get started. If you are a new user and don't really know how to navigate our website, please refer to this message to get started.

Other members: Please post your ideas to this thread as well. If you have any ideas, they would greatly be appreciated.

A few of the most popular items on this site are:

1) Forums. You are currently reading a message in one of our discussion forums. There are many different forums to discuss various things about the Zcar. To see a list of 'root' forums or main categories, simply click "Classic Zcar Club" on the folder list above. The folder list should be directly underneath our main logo on the left side of your screen.

2) Gallery. Our gallery is one of the best Z galleries on the web. I must say that this is one of our strongest parts of the club. To see the gallery, you can click on the link in the "Main Menu" to the left of this message. You must be a registered member to see the images.

3) Joining the Club. This is one of the most-asked questions I receive on a daily basis. To register, simply click on the "register" button either on the main page or in the upper menu bar just under the main logo. If you register, make sure you allow emails from "webmaster@classiczcars.com" because otherwise you might not get our email. Many services such as earthlink, msn, and others will put our email in the junk folder or won't let it through until you specifically allow it. The emails we send will be limited. But, you'll need to read the first email to activate your account.

4) Classifieds. We have a cool classifieds area which can be accessed through the main menu as well. It's similar in design to our gallery and allows anyone to post FREE for-sale or want ads. Use it to buy or sell your next Z.

Anyway, if you have questions, the best way to get an answer is to post a message in our forums. This will assure that your question is exposed to as many members as possible. Most of the time our members can answer any question about an early Z. Our membership includes people from all over the globe, so, be sure to check back often because there's always action here.

Hi Mike , Maybe a small window on the home page that some one that is not a member can read , that explains a few things . Like what we are about and a couple of things like the search function and the Tec section . It's been so long since I first came here , it's hard to remember . Other than my relunctance to sign up .

When joining the club, fill in your location - country (if outside of the US), state, AND city - so that when you need help with parts, or a recommendation for a professional in your area, a member who knows your area can provide local help with parts or advice on local repair shops.

Often times we can't help you if we don't know where you are!

Hello fellow Zcar owners. I just joined the club and would like to intrduce myself hoping to meet new friends who I can chat with and exchange ideas about Zcars.

My name is Oscar Esteban. I live here in SUNNY Bremerton, Wa. I own a '78 280Z which my brother and I are currently working on. Hopefully that you experts out there will be able to give us some pointers as to how we can facilitate its restoration.

I am very glad to be a part of this club. Thank you all very much.

Oscar
