240Z bumpers on a 280Z

We suffer moderate to high winds (20 - 30+) about 30% of the year around here and the floating sensation in the front end on those days will compell a reasonable driver (me) to stay under 60 mph in a cross wind. Particularly frightening when you break out from a roadside stand of trees that was offering shelter, (alot of this island is wooded).

I dont remember that so much with my old 240 (high speed float yes - extreme cross wind effect, not so much). But then again that car has a aura around it in my memories which may not have been there in real life.

I was trying to be funny when I said I didn't have high speed stability problems. Crosswinds are the bane of my 280 as well. I don't think it's the bumpers cuz it got pretty light without the bumper on it as well with it on. I do however like the look of those 240 bumpers and if I could I would switch. I know there are a lot of purists here and some might tell me to go to Hybridz for modifying my car. I say if anyone has changed anything on their car from original factory condition then they are driving a hybrid as is the case with the majority of us anyway.Just my .02 and I agree with sblake01, if your happy with your mods then I'm happy with them cuz they're your car not mine.
