Hey Steven!

Nope, only the two at the compressor.

Nate

That's interesting. All of the 70-73 cars I've seen with what appears to be the original dealer installed air conditioning, have had York compressors. Yours appears to be a Sankyo/Sanden SD 508. That compressor was used in all of the conversions I've seen on 74-78 cars. The main difference is that on the later cars, it's on the drivers side of the engine.

Interesting... mine is a '73 with dealer installed air. The compressor, after studying this thread, appears to be un upright York unit. Here's the odd thing; although it didnt have a FoMoCo stamp or marking, it did have "Fairmont" painted onto it - suggesting to me that it was a used unit pulled from a Ford Fairmont. I've only had the car for a few months, the system was/is not working as I bought it from the PO, but I havent gotten around to seeing what it needs yet.

the only thing there is the Fairmont didnt come out till 79, but thats not to say the previous radiator wasnt out of a Ford.

Heres a better pic of my AC controller, its totally diff

from the other style.

Going to rebuild my carbs this weekend and try to get my 72 to run better, only needs that and some fresh tires (haha)
