Posted September 14, 200519 yr comment_138077 Will a 19in in length muffler fit in a 240z. There's a muffler I am thinking about getting but dont know if it will clear the normal fitting location. The specs are,Body length: 19in, Cross section H x W: 11" x 4 1/2, Shape: Oval. September 14, 200519 yr Author comment_138116 If not, what other aftermarket mufflers are being used in a 240z? This way I can check their specs and see if it's comparable. Thanks,Saro Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/17256-muffler-length/#findComment-138116 Share on other sites
September 14, 200519 yr comment_138118 I have a turbo style on mine, 18" overall including pipes, 14" long body 10" wide. I don't think anything much larger would fit easily without rebending pipes. September 15, 200519 yr Author comment_138150 Thanks for the help guys. Sean, very helpful link, appreciate it. I just found out that the muffler I wanted (Ractive M040) is now discontinued . Guess it wasn't meant to be. I thought this would be a nice dual stacked muffler for the Z. Any one know of a muffler with a single inlet and a dual outlet stacked on top of each other with a stainless finish? Thanks,Saro Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/17256-muffler-length/#findComment-138150 Share on other sites
