fellow members , we need to post to this thread so that it will appear on the home page . This way it will remind some of the members to look at the news section . Thanks , Gary . By the way Norme Simpers that is menioned in the news section is normthe12secdude that many of you may have heard of.

In perspective , to me , it seems trivial debating what air dam or discussing the color to paint my Z , or if a glass pack will be ok. In light of the hard ships some of out fellow members are induring right now. I know that this club and it's membership is about our Zs . And that this is important to us all , my self included . But please just take the time to read the news section , and help if you are able. Can you imagine your self in there situation ? Winter coming on and you see your loved ones that have lost everything . I don't mean to be a bleeding heart here , but please just give it a thought . Even if all you can afford is the price of one gallon of gas , send it . It will help. Thanks Gary

I sent them something spendable, and something Z related!

It won't replace the house or the car, but hopefully it will help with both.

Actions speak louder than words(even a bounce), but hopefully the (bounced)words will inspire actions!

you know , people are in trouble . I am only posting here because if I don't . This thread will die and be forgotten. If you didtn't have a place to sleep tonight that was dry , and you could you hear your loved ones in misery . How would you feel. This is real . Help in any way you can. The Government can not do it and they wont be able . It is up to us to take care of our own . We are so used to being covered when the $^!# hits the fan , that when it does, we expect the ''SOME ONE '' to take care of us . The people of texas are going to take a big HIT . They will need help as well. We are being tested now , are we up to it ??? Gary

G'Day Gary,

Thought I'd help to keep this thread at the top mate.

Here in the land of Oz, organisations like the Red Cross and the Salvos haven't been calling for donations of clothing etc. as they would for a local disaster so I can't see how we southerners can be of assistance. There's no "cents" in sending Oz currency, Monopoly money would have a better exchange rate. LOL

Any suggestions ???????????????????

I mentioned in another thread that U.S.A. members could perhaps organise collection of clothing and toys through their local Red Cross, Salvation Army or other such organisations. Is that being done over there ??????.

By ANYONE ??????????????

Rick.
