Hello everyone. I thought I'd introduce myself. I've known about this site for a while now, but for some reason didn't think to join in on the fun. It looks like I'll be right at home here, there's a few familiar names. I'm also a member at HybridZ, Zdriver.com, and was an early member of the IZCC, back in '94??. I got my first Z, a rusted out '77, when I was 19 and have never looked back. I now road race a 240 with Midwest Council Sports Car Club's vintage/historic group.

Yes, welcome to the site. I too have been to other Z sites in the past and this has been the best one I've found so far when it comes to staying on the Z topic. Some other sites I used to visit got destroyed by a select few using it as there personal I.M.

I'm sure you'll enjoy it here :)

Thanks for the compliments guys. It's really not as nice as it looks in the pics, probably a 15 footer. With that said I have heard from a few different Council members that it's too nice. But in vintage you're not taking the same risks as other classes.

Here's some more pics for anyones who's interested:

Nice car. Love seeing the 240Z still kicking butt after 35 years.

And kicking but it is. I'll try not to brag too much. I actually find it surprising more than anything, but I have NOT come across any car other than V8 powered ones and an XKE, which has more straight line speed including other Z's. I'm still pinching myself from a recent race at Gingerman where it out dragged 3 911's on the opening lap. And this is from a motor which technically can be more powerfull (has the 2nd largest Schneider cam) I have to admit though, they had me in the turns. This is my first year racing, so hopefully my driving skill and car prep will only improve.
