okay. im getting ready to put a full 260z head on my l28.

the problem is that the mechanical fuel pump leaks fuel and oil.

my question is can i use just the stock electric fuel pump? or do i need anything else.

also, do they sell rebuild kits for the mechanical pump?

What are you doing ? If you are going to run carbs, you cannot use a fuel pump that is for injection. Too much pressure . I suppose you could use a pressure relief of some sort but if you just install a pump from a RX-7 Carbed car you will be fine . They put out about 5 psi.

i dont know the comp, but until i can get a flattop block, its an n42 with a 74 e88 w/ 72' carbs.

now i know i'm infected with the Z virus, cause i actually understand this sentence.

sorry to intrude,

bart

28oZ . You can send a PM to phred , He mostlikely can give you an idea of the comp ratio . mlc240z sorry some times we do take it for granted that others can understand this stuff . LOL Yes You are infected . LOL Gary
