Alfadog Posted May 28, 2002 Author Share #27 Posted May 28, 2002 wwwwwwwwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawow... that looks absolutely PRISTINEand whats more, it's got badges! woh hang on... look at a picture of the back end ......... it's got one of the SIDE datsun badges instead of the nice handwriting style datsun badge on the back ?!?! Thats really disappointing...Also, he doesn't have the vents behind the window, yet he has the vertical demisting lines.. is that right?Mmmm... also he has the smokers lighting thing stuck where a switch should be just behind the steering wheel! Is that right??Maybe teh Canadian model was different? :-/Woa... the dash is slightly off-black and the bottom DEF lever knob is broken off.. just like mine! It's silver too!But it does look VERY original and very pampered...

halz Posted May 29, 2002 Share #29 Posted May 29, 2002 Something strange about that ad... The car is advertised as 'completely original' but the paint is described as "pearlized grey' - has its colour been changed from orig? Also, if you're advertising a classic and hoping to push up the market in the process, then "great on gas" is a dumb thing to say! Can you imaging someone advertising his mint Dino 246GT as "great on gas"? I don't think so. At this stage of the market, I'd say that guy is a little out of touch... Alfadog Posted May 29, 2002 Author Share #30 Posted May 29, 2002 Just before it says "pearlized gray" it says "re-painted"
