Posted October 1, 200519 yr comment_140040 I've got over 4" clearance on back, and 1/2" clearance on front between the tires and fenderwells, and the tires are 205/50-15, so they are pretty short already. I put the long, more loosely wound ones on the back and the shorter, more tightly wound ones on front, which I read somewhere on here, but I think I reversed them. Any other ideas? The car sat at a normal rake with 280 tokico springs, before this, just not low. October 1, 200519 yr Author comment_140058 Picture??????????you don't see the picture? It shows up for me.Anyway, a little further searching revealed I put them in backwards. What I get for settling with the first post I found telling which way they went. It was wrong. October 1, 200519 yr comment_140060 Haha, happens to the best of us. About how hard would you say that job is, changing the springs and all? You have a very nice Z there, the wheels look great with that color. What I get for settling with the first post I found telling which way they went. It was wrong. Now it shows up. HybridZ's server must have been busy (or something) the first time I tried to view it.They are difinitely bass ackwards. The good thing is that NOW you know the job and it will go quicker than the first time. October 1, 200519 yr comment_140097 The longer springs belong to the front! It is also very important to have the right end up. Unfortunately I don't remember which end belongs to the upside. Ask Eibach US or ask at Motorsports in Orange. I had the wrong end up and the rear springs crashed into the strut house at a hard bump. Since I changed them downside up as Eibach advised me it's okay. October 1, 200519 yr Author comment_140101 Dan, the first time took me about 4 hours. I also had to change the front strut housings, as one was bent. (the po gave me a spare suspension, unfortunately, I found out it was damaged after installing it, the only thing salvageable were the illuminas)Tom, the floor is ucoatit, and it holds up ok, better than epoxy, but its also lost some gloss over the last 3 years. Also, they say it is impervious to chemicals, but brake cleaner bubbled up the urethane clearcoat.
