July 23, 201212 yr comment_396583 An old thread but it just happened to our club racer so I figured I would try to simplify the great info above. From what I understand: Basically in right high G corners, the fuel sloshes to the left side of the car. Inside the carb, the sloshed fuel works itself up through the fuel bowl vents and gets sucked into the top of the air jets (which are supposed to suck air, not fuel). The problem is that Mikuni has only one fresh air inlet into the carb to feed both the jets and to vent the fuel bowl. The mod basically makes the stock fresh air inlet only for the jets and a new system is used to vent the fuel. March 2, 201312 yr comment_416666 It tooks me a bit time! Here are the mods I still have trouble with air sucking on main jets It works only without the jet cap... But that goes in good direction Edited March 2, 201312 yr by Sylv1 Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/17456-duel-fuel-pumps/?&page=3#findComment-416666 Share on other sites
