Im looking for a front bumper for my 72Z I want the one without the holes for the rubber strips.

Ive looked in Msa, but could find what i wanted. Paying for it may have to wait untill after the holidays. But by then my car will be in primer getting ready for paint.

Any bosy that has one, or knows of a good place to get one then i would love to hear from you!

Thanx, Bill

Bill I like that look as well but dident have the cash to weld up the holes and have the bumper rechromed . So what I did was to buy some stainless carrage bolts and I polished the heads and used them to fill the holes . I looks fine , at least to me it does . Send me a PM with your email address and I will send you a couple of pictures . gary

Gary i like your idea the bolt heads could give it some atitude. But i dont evan have a bumber to try it with.

You have a pm.

Dose anyone have a stock bumber that is in good shape? I dont want to have to rechrome. I could buy a new bumper for what that costs'

G'Day there Bill,

I know you said that you don't want the bumper rubbers but, .................

Original rubbers cost an arm and a leg, (at least down here they do), so, ...

being the tight fisted, cheapskate old fart that I am, I did the rounds of the wrecking yards and found the exact, same shaped rubbers on doors of (I think) Toyotas. For $5 I had enough to do several bumpers. Just had to soften them up.

Rick.

:devious: :devious:
