MickieB Posted October 5, 2005 Share #1 Posted October 5, 2005 Hi all,Haven't been on in a while i know, but i'm sure no one missed me haha.Well i've just recently sold my 2+2 off to a better home as the guy who bought it has nearly fully restored it in just over a month, so i think it was a good move. What i'm looking for is what sort of price i'd be looking to pay for a semi-complete 240z/260z 2 seater project. I would like one that has a complete interior/exterior but no engine. This is because i have plans for a V8 install, but i know if the other stuff isn't done i'll just never really get started like my last zed. Thanks all! Murph Posted October 5, 2005 Share #2 Posted October 5, 2005 I'd take a rough stab and say around $5k+ for something with a neat body/interior.
Zpeed Posted October 5, 2005 Share #3 Posted October 5, 2005 if everything is there, and and is all neat and tidy, 3-6k, matters on year and condition.. etc etctheres a Z that was sold near my house for get this right $600 completyl original 260z, not sure of year, but no rust, just a few small dings, new owner is respraying it and is selling for 9k,, the best part of this is, that the current owner didn't know how much these things were worth, and originally didn't want to pick it up as it was a 2 seater... haha once he bought it found out how much they are worth and now is a happy man

MickieB Posted October 16, 2005 Author Share #7 Posted October 16, 2005 Well i've found a few engines at really good prices and maybe a fellow who will resto the car body and interior for me for a really good price (The guy who bought my zed). So now i just need to move into my new house and find the perfect zed! Due to finding this guy who can resto for cheap i'm looking for one with dodgy everything hehe cause it'll probably work out cheaper and i'll be saving one that might just end up being dumped. WISH ME LUCK!!
