Anybody found any nice, reasonably priced 240Z or Classic Z jackets? Mike & Jen you listening?

I've thought of buying a nice jacket and taking it to a local embrodry (sp?) shop with my own design. Last time I checked the price was reasonable for what you could have done and it wasn't iron on crap that cracks and washes off. I have a club jacket that they did probably 15 years ago and with a good washing it looks like new.

Nissan sells a full line of apparel. The earliest catalog I have is 1997. Carl Beck and Pete Brock tell me that my jacket is an Interpart item. It closely resembles the picture in the 1973 catalog, but it has a 240Z emblem below the Datsun patch rather than a BRE patch on the right sleeve. I don't have the liner for the jacket either. MSA is selling a real nice short-sleeved shirt that replicates the original BRE crew shirts. Some of the patches and pins I see regularly on eBay are real nice reproductions. A couple of years ago, I was all hopped up on the Nissan Group C racing cars and sewed a Nissan patch and March Cars patch on a Lands End golf shirt. A lot of you have seen me in my 26th-Z embroidered golf shirts. Then there is the golf shirt with HLS30-00026.

The simplest thing we could do as a club would be to use the same screening from the T-shirts and put them on a jacket. No additional start-up costs, besides buying a bunch of jasckets and calling the printers.

Do you think I could just take my club shirt & a jacket to a printing place or seamstress/patchmaker? How much would a giant pach or computerized embroidery cost?

Good idea for the coming "colder months" when you can't wear a T-shirt outdoors; unless you're in TX.

Personally the NNA stuff doesn't look very nice to me. I would like to see a jacket using out club logo & maybe 240Z or Z sewn on it.

That sounds a lot like my idea. You'd have to use a small embroidered Z, probably on the front( like on the T-shirts).

Yea I'd like to see a small car as well as the club logo used somehow.
