Can a 240z rotor go on a 260z hub?

I'm thinking by doing this I will gain 11mm each side, just like having wheel spacers.

Overall the 240 & 260 assemblys ( hub&rotor ) are the same size and fit both 240 & 260 struts,

The differance is the 240 hub is 52mm and the 260 hub is 43.5mm and as such the 260 hub sits 11mm longer than the 240 hub to compensate

Has anyone combined the longer 240 rotor and 260 hub or see any problems with it?

thanks

Nope, the difference is on the backside of the wheel mounting face. The net result of thicker hub and thinner brake disc hat on the 260 is the same as the thunner hub and thicker brake disc hat of the 240. Both discs end up in the same position which is handy as the caliper is in the same location on both cars ;)

To gain more track without spacers, you could look at using Z31 hubs, but they're 5 stud, and then you'll be having fun with brakes!

Cheers,

Rob
