Re the nick name: I never really liked the Datto-Zed nickname.....it was sort of a last resort because the ones I wanted were taken (way back in the day, when I was signing up at another forum). After that the name just stuck.

Anyhow, I finally decided it was time for a change (to my real life nickname). Not a bad thing around here (to ditch the old one), where the forum is all about datsun zed cars.

oh well, that might be expensive now but its good to see that that is where the prices are heading for these old classics.

accordingly the guy selling it is a bit of a schemer, (duh 35k for a zed is ridiculous! (atm))

also accordingly, the side mirrors were original on the earlier ones (no later than 71), again second hand information.

love the way he says, it's ultra rare, cause looking at numbers it later than many.

You might scoff at the price of that Zed but looking at the car it's loaded with all the correct OEM parts. If you add up the price of all those OEM bits brand new like hose clamp clips, hoses, etc etc... I'm sure $35k wouldn't be hard.

He might be jumping the gun a bit on value , but I'd say in a few more years it won't be so far fetched.

Absolutely, Gavin. We're lucky here in Australia really. We've got to have the cheapest valuation of the S30Z's. I wonder what you'd get for that car in America/Japan/England? Any of our International members want to have a guess?

I just hope they dont go up in price too much. Want to be able to drive the bloody things too...
