Rust Bullet

Hi, we import Classic Cars from California and have been into them for years. We heard about a product called Rust Bullet, a new rust prevention product, and decided to try it for ourselves. We loved it so much we have imported it from America!! An LA inventor designed Rust Bullet to protect U.S. Air Force jet wingtips from abrasion during flight. It is now used on everything from cars to ships. Rust Bullet requires no preparation, just 2 coats to clean or rusty metal. As an excellent adhesion it doesn’t peel or blister away and can be painted over. It resists mechanical abuse, chemicals, abrasions, UV & weather in all climates and below seawater. It has been tested scientifically for 3 years against leading rust and corrosion control products. If you would like to try it for yourselves contact Megan 07966026978

Or check out www.rustbullet.com or contact mbeadman@orange.net

Whilst I can't help but think this is like selling ice to Eskimos given the predominantly US-centric audience of this site, and on that count doesn't rank particularly highly on the well-researched-target-ometer, it is of slight interest to us poor rusty Brits - it would appear Megan is in the UK - as Rust Bullet sounds like a reasonable alternative to POR15.

On the downside, the UK distributor listed on http://www.rustbullet.com has a different email and phone number, so you can read in to that what you will!

Cheers,

Rob

So....have you tried using some "Rust Bullet" yet? I'm not taking one side or the other at this point, due to the fact that I've been comparing "Rust Bullet" vs "POR15" in some "real world" tests of my own.... Seems pretty interesting so far...

I do indeed agree that it's well and truly crossed the line in to spam-land, however I would be interested to hear webdawg's findings on the product. I haven't used it yet, been using POR15 which apart from the effort in prep seems to do a decent enough job, especially in comparison to the crud that is Hammerite.

Cheers,

Rob

Rust bullet may well be good stuff. I just don't appreciate the way it was presented. It's quite clear to me that someone who has probably never owned a classic Z car registered here for the sole purpose of making this post for commercial purposes.
