Posted October 15, 200519 yr comment_141919 On my 72 240z I dont have any lever inside the cockpit for a choke cable, but I see 1 cable going to one carb under the hood. Wheres the lever or levers suppose to be ? and Why do I have a Choke Lite on my dash ? btw, the groovy shag carpet in the pic is a throw back from the Zs 70 past, installed by original owner many moons ago Ive sense removed it :stupid: Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/17637-choke-location-lever-location/ Share on other sites
October 15, 200519 yr comment_141920 The choke lever should be sticking out of the slot in the console in front of the ash tray. The lever attached to the bottom of the console and being plastic they break, yours must have broken some time in the past and was removed. There are various methods of attaching them to the transmission hump so if you can find a replacement it can be fitted even if the mounts on the console are broken. Nice shag, just had to say that Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/17637-choke-location-lever-location/#findComment-141920 Share on other sites
