July 3, 200915 yr comment_288657 BTW... Today is Mr. Blakes birthday, among others. Check the homepage for all of today's birthdays. Thanks for the acknowledgement. I didn't notice it on the 1st. You and I have had our differences over time and, while it wasn't a 'happy birthday', I'm somewhat surprised that you mentioned it at all. My comment here really has more to do with the 'among others'. Check out some of those names in the 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!' box especially the ones that you don't readily recognize. Most of them are people that joined at some point but have either never posted here or have just done a handful of posts and stopped. I know this is off topic but are those people included in our membership count? July 6, 200915 yr comment_288855 webdawg1,I know what you mean about life getting in the way. I think we all have that problem. I need to replace my clutch and brake vacuum booster to be able to keep driving once in a while. Not a lot of parts involved for that but I'm thinking about pulling the engine and transmission and restoring the engine bay, engine externals and seals for the trans since I would be pulling the transmission anyway. Another while I'm at it job.Brad Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/17680-restoration-spreadsheets/?&page=6#findComment-288855 Share on other sites
May 13, 201014 yr comment_319480 Have you seen the "240Z Restoration checklist"? It has the entire car catalogued with instructions on what to do with each part, and could be used a a model for your spreadsheets. http://www.jasonjarvis.com/main.htmlBTW... Today is Mr. Blakes birthday, among others. Check the homepage for all of today's birthdays. Unfortunately that link is dead now. For what it's worth I have all of webdawg1's spreadsheets up to this point downloaded and hosted on my site also. I may consolidate them in to one file with each spreadsheet being one workbook/tab. Any how, here's the link: http://www.pape.ws/allan_and_rosanne/Z-Car_Stuff/Restoration%20Spreadsheets/ Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/17680-restoration-spreadsheets/?&page=6#findComment-319480 Share on other sites

March 4, 201114 yr comment_348224 Hey all, sorry to revive the thread. I am just wondering if anyone put all this information together in a useful format, with part numbers and lengths on the fasteners. I am having a tough time sourcing 10.9 metric fasteners in person and need to order online and therefore I would like to order all in one go and make sure I cover everything. If someone has already done this it would save me a lot of time and effort for wrenching rather than sitting in front of the computer. But if I have to put it together I will and will post whatever I come up with. Here is a list of sources (in particular order) I have found or have been recommended for anyone searching here for fasteners / nuts / bolts / washers, etc. Especially in the high grade ISO 10.9 Class and JIS fasteners:Allen's Fasteners: http://www.allensfasteners.com/Bolt Depot: http://www.boltdepot.com/Nuts and Bolt.com: http://www.nutsandbolts.com/Clips and Fasteners: http://www.clipsandfasteners.com/Bel-Metric: https://www.belmetric.com/Fastenal: http://www.fastenal.com/ (small and large quantities, yellow zinc finishes and JIS)Metric and Multistandard components: http://www.metricmcc.com/ (large quantities)Datsun Spirit: http://www.datsunspirit.com/ (Eiji apparently has kits)Z Car Creations: http://www.zcarcreations.com/ (Stainless Steel Kits - excludes suspension due to strength not class 10.9)Of course many are still available from Nissan, hence the reason I ask if a complete list was ever put together including part numbers.I am sure there are probably others but these are either recommended here on CZCC or HybridZ.
