Just wondering what everyone thought on this color "ups brown" for a Z. If anyone has a pic of a Z with this or a similar color I would like to see it. The ups guy stoped at my house yesterday and I was looking at his truck and thought it would look nice on a Z with maybe some black rims. Dont know though, its kinda hard for me to picture in my head.

Check out =Enigma='s car...it's brown, but not quite as dark as a UPS truck. Good looking color though. Might give you an idea.

Not sure what color it is (though it looks nice imo), however it has a 240Z bumper, 240Z turnsignals, and a non-vented hood so I doubt it's a 78 black pearl edition 280Z.

Yhea, now that I look beyond just the color, you'd be right. This is why I haven't made an effort to shed my Z newbie status. :classic:

My 78 is the original Datsun Metalic Brown with light tan pin stripes. It's not quite as dark as UPS brown. The car has won first place in the last three shows it was entered in. I think the color is very classy.

That Z posted above looks nice in brown and gives me a bit of an idea what it might look like. I was thinking a dark brown with white 240z side stripes would look real nice. Ive got a way to go before im ready to paint my car so right now its between some shade of brown/white/silver. All three look great on the Z, just gotta pick one. thanks

the pic i listed is "gator" s car in that thread about mirrors..maybe im colorblind..i thought it was drak brown maybe it was the red stripe that threw me.
