Posted October 23, 200519 yr comment_142689 I bought this shifter boot for my 280z. http://www.courtesyparts.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=CP&Product_Code=32869-S30But when it is in neutral it pull the boot up, is it suppose to be like that or no. I finally got my engine back together havent got to run it yet, I am a little scared to start it because I put 3000.00 into the engine and to have it not start would really upset me. I will post some pics of it tomorrow and pics of the shifter boot to see what I am talking about. October 24, 200519 yr Author comment_142770 First gen Z, I already bought the one off of webdawgg1. But thanks anyways. I finally tried to start the car today, . It has gas leaks on the fuel rail. And the timing is off it looks like I will have to pull the sway bar and redo the oil pump :disappoin . But it started! I need to ask, what is the best sealant for sealing up gas leaks. I have an aftermarket fuel rail and there is threaded plugs that he gave me to plug up the holes that I am not using and those are leaking. Thanks Shane Oh and about the pics, I left my camera over at my moms house. I will get it tomorrow and post them on here. It's just to say Thanks for everything that you guys have helped me out with on my car. October 24, 200519 yr comment_142839 I would use teflon sealer on the plugs, I would keep away from teflon tape in that area as I wouldn't want any pieces of tape getting loose and blocking injectors.
