Hey I'm goolglin' like crazy! Can't find it. I've seen one of these before... and i'm looking at all the ones of the era Chevy Luv, Isuzu P'up, Ford Courier, Mazda B series... can't find it! Arghhh! I don't think she's a Datsun though.... could be wrong I guess. WHERE did you find it Ed???? in Niagara Falls? USA or Canada? What was the progression of Datsun trucks? 620 to 720 to 721/D21 hardbody to Frontier (D22) right? hmmm, sblake might be the guy to ask.... Stephen!

That's a "Sunny" pickup. They were based on the LB110 (Datsun 1200) platform. Evidentally there were a lot of them in Central America. One of the guys I know that has one says that he brought it up from Venezuela, I believe. The one I've seen is left hand drive. From what I hear, they are still made and sold to this day in Africa.(!)

I love these Sunny pickups, But I DO Not FIT in one. These were sold as Left hand drives in Central and South America. Not in the states. One of my Datsun vendors has a 78 from Guatamala. Very neat LITTLE Truck.

Speakin off topic about little Datsun Trucks, I bought this 71 521 last saturday. It's very Getto at the momment, but I'm cleaning her up day by day.

Nope, no Sunny pickups in the US. Not officially anyway. A few have snuck in from Central America as Vic and I said. I owned two 521s in the past. Both were 1970. One was nice, Red, L20B 5speed, etc. and the other was a work truck, Brown, though I also put and L20B in it but left the four speed.

Nice! The picture came from my brother down in Ecuador. He said they are "Datsun 1200's". Looks like a cute little truck. I wouldn't mind having one.

Check out this one with flames. It's a 1999. And being sold for $6200 U.S. dollars.
