yoogener Posted October 28, 2005 Share #1 Posted October 28, 2005 I know this is a dumb question, some people probably say weatherstripping is a fairly self explanatory process. But I just want to make sure I'm doing things right. Does anyone know or have any tutorials on replacing each/most of the weatherstripping on a 240Z? yoogener Posted October 28, 2005 Author Share #3 Posted October 28, 2005 ooh yay! =D a) How do I take off the rear hatch glass? How do the Door Cap seals go on? c)The aftermarket lower door seal from Precision seems to have holes in it. I was guessing it was for screwing it on, but the factory seal that's still on the door doesn't have screws. How should I put this one on? Thanks for your time, Gary. montoya_fan01 Posted October 28, 2005 Share #4 Posted October 28, 2005 There are plastic clips that go through the holes in the w/s, and into corresponding holes in the bottom of the door. you may need to look more carefully to see them, but they are there. To remove hatch glass take a razor and cut the lip of the gasket almost all the lip, then u can push the glass out
