Although these planes are landing at their maximum crosswind in the worst possible way, its not how I try to do it! (<-airline pilot), but cool to watch!

If anyone has videos of a B-52 Bomber plane coming in with cross-wind, you would be able to see that that plane can CRAB it's landing gear and continue down the run-way at an angle.

yeah, the buff has landing gear that crabs with the plane, but that is because it has no ailerons! It only flys with trim tabs.

I once saw a video of a 747 landing at Japan's Kansia Int'l Airport doing just this with a full load of passnegers. That's gotta be pretty scary but the larger planes are designed to handle it. Serious skill involvered there to be able to hold the center line while crabbing it. Thanks for the vid.
