KirkgZ Posted November 5, 2005 Share #1 Posted November 5, 2005 I need a socket and pigtail for a rear taillight for a 1973 240Z. The plastic has broken. I do not want to buy a whole new harness so I need the socket and wiring for the back taillight only. Does anyone know where I can get this puppy? It is the socket and wire only I don't want the harness. By the way it is for the RIGHT rear taillight. Thanks for the help if you can.

KirkgZ Posted November 5, 2005 Author Share #3 Posted November 5, 2005 Thanks, I had already figured on that. I was hoping for "newer part". I do appreciate the reply though.
sakijo Posted November 6, 2005 Share #4 Posted November 6, 2005 The plastic socket can sometimes be found in the auto parts electrical section. Granted, it won't be OEM, but sometimes, they're a good match.
KirkgZ Posted November 8, 2005 Author Share #5 Posted November 8, 2005 Pep Boys or Kragen, places like that? Thanks for the info. I will check it out.
EScanlon Posted November 8, 2005 Share #6 Posted November 8, 2005 It might be easy enough to find a single bulb holder and wire to splice into your tail-light wiring harness, but you might be able to get a complete tail-light wire harness easily enough. You need to specify whether you need the ONE bulb connector, or the Tail-Light Harness (which includes 4 bulb connectors).E
