November 8, 200519 yr comment_145088 I believe August is always the final month for Nissan cars for that model year. I have an Aug 71 and it's the last month for the 71 model year. September started the 72 model year.Brian: Nope, this has been discussed several times. Nissan's production in the early seventies was by CALENDAR year and not American Model year (which IS/was Sept to August). Due to that, we've seen vehicles purported as 72 models due to their registration, when in fact they were 71 build with 71 components. Mine for instance has a build date of 9/71, has mostly a "Series I" interior (indicative of an Early 71), but "Series II" body metal (again pointing towards a Late 71) and registered as a 71. VIN is 43274, check with Zhome and you'll see that it's in the last few of the 71 model year.E Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/17923-basic-240z-vs-late-model-240z/?&page=2#findComment-145088 Share on other sites

November 8, 200519 yr comment_145119 Oddly, enough I was also looking for that and couldn't find it. If your putting the panel back there's only one connector that fits. There's a black ground wire that needs to be screwed down somewhere or the switch won't work. November 8, 200519 yr comment_145120 Yeah, that part's pretty obvious. But my car has had some wiring "issues" before I bought it - I'd like to be able to look at an accurate diagram to track some things down. I'm just concerned with the fact that if the heater stuff is missing, what else might be wrong with that diagram? Hence the necessity to examine your car for features and not to trust the DMV paperwork.
